The training program in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus is designed for 4-6 years

In Belarus, all higher educational institutions, both public and private, are subordinate to the Ministry of Education

Many foreign students study at higher educational institutions in Belarus

Studying is not free for citizens of other countries

As a rule, its value depends on the chosen specialty, form of study and educational institutions

The language of study in higher educational institutions of the Republic is Russian or Belarusian. Most foreign students need to complete a one-year Language Course at the Pre-University Training College of an educational institution before starting their studies

There is also the possibility of studying in English

Accommodation for foreign students

All higher educational institutions of Belarus have housing departments that help in obtaining a temporary residence permit , help in finding a place to stay

Most students live in dormitories. It is convenient and fairly cheap

After the student chooses the specialty and higher educational institution, he must receive an invitation to study. For this, the following documents are sent :

1. A notarized copy of the Education document with an indication of the subjects studied and the marks obtained in the exams (points)

2. A copy of the pages of the National Passport

3. A certified copy of a medical certificate on the state of Health, confirming the possibility of training in the climatic conditions of the Republic of Belarus, certified by the official health authorities of the country sending the candidate for study

Then it is necessary to issue a visa allowing to enter the territory of the Republic of Belarus

Upon arrival in Belarus, the original documents are submitted to the University Admission Committee for consideration:

1. Original documents on education with an indication of the subjects of study and grades (points) obtained in the exams;

2. An original medical report on the state of Health, confirming the possibility of training a foreign citizen in the climatic conditions of the Republic of Belarus, certified by the official state health authorities

3. A medical certificate on the absence of HIV infection issued by the official health authority

4. A national passport with a visa for entry into the Republic of Belarus is presented by a foreign citizen personally

Documents can be submitted in Belarusian or Russian, as well as in English, French, Spanish and German

In this case, it is necessary to attach its translation into Belarusian or Russian, notarized.
